Reserve a space for your child with special needs. Appointment includes evaluation, individualized plan, and instruction for parent or caregiver to do acupressure at home. ABM for Children practitioners will be observing to learn along with the families.

Acupuncturist Shasta Tierra
Shasta Tierra L.Ac., Dipl Ac. (NCCAOM), is one of the very few western second-generation acupuncturists with over 3 decades of exposure to Chinese Medicine. As a licensed primary health care provider, she has been certified since 1995 through the State of California Acupuncture Board. Shasta has a very broad background in natural healthcare having studied under her father; Dr. Michael Tierra O.M.D., L.Ac. Shasta has received special training in orthopedic testing, evaluation and orthopedic acupuncture treatment techniques and is a contributing editor for “Acupuncture and Electro acupuncture: Evidence-Based Treatment Guidelines”, October 2004. She has worked for The Center for Integrative Medicine at O’Connor Hospital, as well as having lectured on Chinese medicine at the Stanford Center for Integrative Medicine. She is a professional member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Her unique approach incorporates a total health program aimed at achieving whole life enrichment.
