Free Children's Clinic news

UPDATE!
I posted about the Free Children's Clinc on the ABM Blog. I am thrilled to report here how the clinics have taken off this year. Between now and the end of the year there will be 7 more clinics offering lessons. That makes 11 clinics in the second half of 2008. This is a new record. Clinics provide anywhere from 10 to 50 lessons. We do lessons for children, their parents, and the professionals who also work with the child. I even did some ABM work with the reporter who attended the Sea Ranch Free Children's clinic. Having that kinesthetic experience is the very best way to understand the Anat Baniel Method work.

11 Clinics. Average # of lessons, estimated at 20. That's 220 lessons donated to communities in the US and Canada! I am so proud that this forum I created for families of children with special needs to find out about the work is continuing to expand. My vision is that ABM will be available as an option for any family who wishes to have it for their child. We are making progress and the Free Children's Clinics are a very successful way to educate communities about this method.

Three things are needed for success: ABM Teachers, Public Awareness, and Funding. We have teachers in almost every state now. We also have teachers in many other countries. People are starting to find out about ABM through Websites, Blogs, Free Children's Clinics, Parent lists, Word of Mouth - it's happening. That leaves funding. I'll be posting an update about what we are working on in that arena here soon.
